The Emory Hotel

We successfully completed the fit-out of a hotel luxury basement spa as part of this project, which involved the construction of internal partitions, linings, and ceilings. Notably, the project featured several unique elements, due to the Piccadilly line being a few meters away from the project, SMG had to form a box in box construction to achieve specified acoustic performance.

Another unique feature of this project included the swimming pool ceiling. For this particular ceiling, we utilized corrosion-protected metal and KNAUF Aqua Panel board finish.
One of the standout challenges we faced was the tight timeframe. To ensure timely completion, we undertook numerous evening shifts as and when instructed by Our Client.

Our Client expressed satisfaction with our work on the basement, leading to an expansion of our scope. Consequently, we were entrusted with the partitions and ceilings scope for the ground floor.
